It gives me great pleasure to welcome you to St. Mary Magdalen's Catholic Primary School. We have a long and proud history of providing high quality education and three very good Ofsted inspections confirm this. Well established links exist with local schools and we have an outstanding partnership with All Hallows, a very high performing local Catholic High School.
The Governors and staff believe that Christianity should promote tolerance, understanding, concern and support for other peoples' welfare within a spiritual framework. The R.E. inspection of 2006 graded us 'outstanding' and academic standards are consistently above the national average. We support a number of charities on a regular basis including CAFOD, spectacles for the developing world, goods for Eastern Block countries, our local hospice and the NSPCC.
The P.T.A. is extremely active and works hard to provide additional opportunities and facilities for our children. Feedback from parents consistently supports the work we do. We offer a wide range of after-school activities and have a successful Children's Club that provides morning and evening care for our pupils.
